Time to try out the new Christmas toys!  First up: the sausage making kit.  Giant shoulders of pork reduced to, well, to mincemeat.  Add garlic, chilli, herbs etc....voila!  West Country farmhouse, or garlic herb, or chorizo.  Also, check out my nanowrimo efforts (see November if that means nothing to you....)

Bulbs coming through.  No, not related to the sausages! Snow and sunshine.  This fell in 15 minutes while we were in Tesco's, then stopped. Gone now.
UPDATE...  I'm now off my work site and officially on consultation for redundancy.  Yay.  On the plus side, saw a goldcrest in the garden yesterday, less than three feet away.  Bulbs coming through all over now, will post pictures when they flower.
....and this was just funny.  We've been asking for months for the Keep clear to be repainted because dogwalkers avoiding paying parking in the park, keep parking on it and blocking emergency access to the police training centre.  Today they came to repaint, but guess what:
